Headshot 2bw.JPGRyan Hale Radebaugh grew up in Orem, UT, but was raised right here on the Hale stage. He received training from his grandparents, Ruth and Nathan Hale, in a variety of theater disciplines. Ryan is the Theater School Director at Hale Center Theater Orem where his directing credits include the youth productions of A Christmas Carol, Willy Wonka, The Wizard of Oz, and Cinderella. He is the instructor of their year-round acting workshops for youth. Ryan has appeared as an actor on the Hale stage in numerous productions. Some past favorites include Beau Jest, Ghost of a Chance, Charley's Aunt and Over the River and Through the Woods. Ryan is also a member of Comedy Sportz (Provo branch) where he performs in improvisation. Professionally, Ryan is an award winning sixth grade teacher for Alpine School District.



Thumbnail image for Amanda-1a-web.jpgAmanda Crabb comes from Boston where she received her Masters in Music from The Boston Conservatory of Music. She received a BFA from Brigham Young University in Music Dance Theater. Amanda currently teaches voice for Hale Center Theater Orem and Brigham Young University.





davids.jpgDavid Smith graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor in Media Music, where he studied contemporary voice for 5 years. He has directed and music directed for many youth theaters throughout the valley. He also writes and records music for film and theater. Some of his HCTO performing credits include Robert in The Drowsy Chaperone, The Cat in the Hat in Seussical, The Narrator in the regional premiere of The Girl, the Grouch, and the Goat, Cosmo in Singin' in the Rain, Georg in She Loves Me, Smudge in Forever Plaid, Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, Charlie in The Foreigner (BYU, Irene Ryan Acting Award, and HCTO), and Tony in West Side Story. David is currently a member of The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).


Thumbnail image for Marcie-1a.jpgMarcie Shareen Yacktman graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in music and has trained extensively in the Suzuki Voice Method. She has performed with numerous choirs and orchestras in both Utah and California, and has performed in many stage productions as well. Marcie delights in teaching creative young musicians to sing.






Thumbnail image for Diane D bw.jpgDiane Dabczynski received her degree in vocal performance from the Eastman School of Music, with further voice studies at L'Ecole Hindemith in Vevey, Switzerland and at The Chautauqua Music School, New York.  She has been teaching voice for over 30 years.  She is a veteran of hundreds of radio and television commercials; onscreen, voiceovers and jingles.  She has performed with the Norman Luboff Choir, the Harry Belafonte Singers and has done back-up singing for Aretha Franklin and Bobby McFerrin.  At the Hale Theater, she has performed in "Little Women" as Marmee, "Fiddler on the Roof" as Golde, "Jane Eyre" as Mrs. Fairfax, "Pirates of Penzance" as Ruth and has done many productions of "A Christmas Carol" as Mrs. Fezziwig.

Shawnda Moss received degrees in Theatre Education and Theatre for Young Audiences from BYU.  Currently Shawnda teaches in the BYU Theatre Education program.  She often conducts workshops at national theatre education conferences and seminars for university education programs.  She is on the Board of Directors for the Utah Theatre Association and organizes and produces its annual conference. She directs and acts on local stages as much as her family life will permit.  She directed Lend Me a Tenor for the Hale Centre Theatre in West Valley and No Time for Sergeants for the Hale Center Theater in Orem. She is currently performing in Hairspray.  Some of her favorite roles onstage include: Essie in You Can't Take It With You, Anne Shakespeare in March Tale, Lotte in Playing for Time, and one of the Pick-a-Little Ladies in The Music Man.  She is married to Bradley Moss, another theatre instructor, and plays mom to three adorable, brilliant, blond-haired children.

Brittni Smith's first acting class was at the HCTO when she was nine years old. Since then, Brittni has earned her BFA in Acting and Theater Education from Brigham Young University. She is now the drama teacher at Mountain Ridge Junior High School. Brittni has taught at youth acting camps and workshops around the valley, including camps at BYU, UVU, Westridge Elementary, and American Fork Youth Theater. Before teaching theater professionally, she worked as an usher, door manager, makeup designer, makeup artist, box office rep, and as a member of stage crew. Directing credits include Fiddler on the Roof, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Cinderella, Fee Fie Fo Fum, Oz and others. At the HCTO, she has choreographed and music directed youth productions such as Cinderella, Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz and A Christmas Carol. Recent HCTO acting credits include Catherine in the Foreigner, Daria in the regional premiere of the Girl the Grouch and the Goat, April Ann in April Ann, and Miss Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Brittni also starred as Elizabeth Bennet in the world premiere of Pride and Prejudice the musical, and as Katrina in The Legends of Sleepy Hollow at the Emerging Artists' Theater in New York.
