The Hale Center Foundation for the Arts and Education is dedicated to its three-fold mission to provide a high quality, intimate, theatrical experience while maintaining affordable ticket prices; furnish an excellent venue for artists to express their talents and gain valuable experience; and invest in people by providing a positive place for children and adults to learn and perform.
Established in 1990 by Ruth and Nathan Hale, the Hale Center Theater Orem has stood as a pillar of the performing arts in Utah Valley ever since. It is also the main pillar of the Hale Center Foundation for the Arts and Education. Now in their eighth straight year of being voted "Best Live Theater of Utah Valley," HCTO continues to put on over 300 performances of family-friendly comedies and musicals each year.
With over 15,000 costume designs in stock, Archive Costumes ships regularly to schools, theaters, partygoers, and event organizers all over the United States! One satisfied customer raves, "You won't find a better costume design team in Utah!"
The Hale Center Academy for the Performing Arts is one of the top acting and vocal performance education venues in the Valley! With certified and professionally trained actors with national and international experience, children and adults of all ages find themselves more skilled and confident through our classes.
As you can see, the standard of excellence is sky high for all of the Hale Center Foundation's pillars. But maintaining such excellence can be costly. Ticket sales only make up a fraction of our revenue each year. The rest is contributed by our advertisers, sponsors, and people like you. People who care about the arts. People who want to keep them alive and vibrant in society. We will continue to keep ticket prices affordable while reaching for the stars, but we cannot do it without you!
