As the work stoppage at Midtown Village enters its seventh month, we remain optimistic that their financial difficulties will be resolved soon so that construction may begin on our new theater. We thank Midtown Village for their support thus far, and we wish them and all involved parties, all the best in this time of difficulty.
At the same time, we want you to know that should the situation eventually become one that is no longer in the best interests of the theater, we are actively moving forward with the thorough investigation of other locations. We have met with a few interested parties who would be honored to assist us in building a new theater. This vetting process, however, will take some time as we ensure that each potential location would best serve our needs, as well as those of our patrons and the community. We will keep you informed of new developments at all stages of the process. For those of you who have generously contributed to our new theater fund, rest assured that all money raised thus far remains in a separate account, reserved specifically for that project.
